Firefighters responded to the 5200 block of Annette Street about 3:30 a.m. to find the back of a house engulfed in flames, Robert Combs, a department spokesman, said in a news release. Fire damaged about 80 percent of the house before it was extinguished about an hour after firefighters arrived, Combs said. No one lives at the house, Combs said, and no one was injured in the fire. BR man accused in rape of girl, 11 Baton Rouge police on Saturday arrested a 35-year-old man accused of raping an 11-year-old girl about two weeks ago. Police booked Thomas Scott, 35, 1188 Rosenwald Road, Baton Rouge, into Parish Prison on a count of aggravated rape, booking records show. Scott is accused of raping the girl about two weeks ago at her home in Baton Rouge, according to an affidavit of probable cause. Scott denied raping the girl, the affidavit says. BR man accused of molesting girl, 5 Deputies on Friday arrested a 31-year-old man accused of molesting a 5-year-old girl on multiple occasions last year. East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff’s deputies booked Kyron Demond Seaberry, 31, with a last known address of 5130 Everett Lane, Baton Rouge, into Parish Prison on a count of sexual battery, booking records show. Seaberry is accused of groping the child on separate occasions in Baton Rouge and Gonzales as recently as March 2013, according to an affidavit of probable cause. Six booked in EBR on suspicion of DWI Authorities arrested at least six people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, booking records show. Those booked and the counts against them: Mohammad Ashraf, 24, 4712 David Drive, Kenner, first-offense DWI.
