Advocate staff report April 10, 2014 Comments Due to overwhelming interest, the casting call location for “Pitch Perfect 2,” the sequel to the hit 2012 musical-comedy “Pitch Perfect,” has been moved to a larger location. The new location is 415 N. 15th St., at the corner of North 15th and Laurel streets, next to Renaissance Park. Parking is available in the lot at North 15th and Laurel streets. The film is seeking male and female dancers 18 and older. The open casting call is scheduled Saturday, April 5, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The casting call for dance troupes, organizations, teams and trained dancers is scheduled Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dancers should come ready to perform and in appropriate dance attire and footwear. Dancers will be asked to perform to the will.i.am-Justin Bieber song “#thatPOWER” and Mika’s “Lollipop.” The casting contact is email@example.com. The original “Pitch Perfect” was shot largely in Baton Rouge on the LSU campus. Starring Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson and Elizabeth Banks, the film grossed nearly $65 million at the box office. Banks is set to direct and co-star in the sequel.
