Jackson woman booked in knife attack Jackson woman booked in knife attack Baker-Zachary bureau Aug. 17, 2014 Comments ZACHARY — A Jackson woman booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison is accused of attacking another woman with a knife, cutting her once and stabbing her twice Saturday night in the parking lot of the Men’s Club. Zachary police booked Destiny Dixon, 19, 2612 La. 10, into Parish Prison on three counts of aggravated second-degree battery. The victim told police she saw her child’s father talking to Dixon and when she walked over to them, Dixon exited a gold Honda brandishing a knife, the affidavit says. During a short scuffle, Dixon cut the victim on her hand and stabbed her in the abdomen and in the arm just below the left elbow, the affidavit says. Dixon told police she took the knife from the victim after the victim pulled her out of her car to fight, the affidavit says. Dixon also said the knife was left in the parking lot, but officers never found the weapon. One witness told police he saw Dixon stab the victim, and said Dixon left after the victim punched her, the affidavit says.
