BR woman, 33, killed in Livingston Parish motorcycle crash BR woman, 33, killed in Livingston Parish motorcycle crash Advocate staff report March 12, 2014 Comments A 33-year-old Baton Rouge woman died Friday in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Livingston Parish, State Police said. Charlotte R. Cole, 33, was ejected from a motorcyle being driven by her husband, Thomas E. Cole, 45, after he lost control of a 2011 Kawasaki as he headed into a southbound curve on La. 16 near French Settlement around 1 p.m. Friday, said Trooper First Class Jared Sandifer, a State Police spokesman. Both riders were wearing helmets, Sandifer said, but Charlotte Cole suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Her husband, also of Baton Rouge, was airlifted to Baton Rouge General Medical Center with serious injuries, Sandifer said. Troopers do not suspect impairment was a factor in the crash, but routine toxicology samples were submitted to the State Police Crime Lab for analysis, Sandifer said.
