Lil’ Boosie raps his way home on YouTube, to speak at press conference on Monday

Baton Rouge rapper Torence “Lil Boosie” Hatch, who was released from prison Wednesday night, will speak at a press conference in New Orleans on Monday.

The media invitation was circulated by the rapper’s label, Atlantic Records.

According to the invitation, the invitation-only press conference will be hosted by both Atlantic Records and Baton Rouge-based Trill Entertainment.

Atlantic Records did not respond to questions Thursday about what topics Hatch will speak about.

Hatch was serving an eight-year sentence on drug charges at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola.

He was accused of murder in the 2009 killing of Terry Boyd, but was acquitted of the first-degree murder charge in May 2012.

Attempts to reach Hatch and his management on Thursday were unsuccessful.
