Police search for burglary suspects

Baton Rouge Police are looking for two people caught on video apparently burglarizing a Vietnamese restaurant on Marque Ann Drive a little more than a week ago.

The burglary took place at the Mien Tay restaurant, 1125 Marque Ann Drive, on the night of Feb. 18 and into the early morning hours of Feb. 19, said Cpl. L’Jean McKneely, a Baton Rouge police spokesman.

The burglars took money and restaurant merchandise in the heist, McKneely said.

Police: Man robbed workers at restaurant

Investigators are looking for a man who walked into a Domino’s Pizza on Greenwell Springs Road on Friday afternoon and robbed the eatery workers at gunpoint.

The robber entered the pizza place in the 8900 block of Greenwell Springs Road with a handgun about 2:05 p.m., said Cpl. L’Jean McKneely, a Baton Rouge police spokesman.

The thief got away with some money and fled the business on foot, McKneely said.

Police describe the robber as a black man, medium complexion, 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a slim build.

Fifteen accused of driving while intoxicated

Authorities arrested at least 15 people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish — including a man on a sixth-offense DWI — and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday, booking records show.

Those booked and the counts against them:

Megan Dorn, 21, 840 Park St., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and improper lane usage.
