Deputies booked Darrell Zhiere Johnson, 18, 14141 Azalea Park Ave., Baton Rouge, into Parish Prison on counts of attempted second-degree feticide and domestic abuse battery, according to an affidavit of probable cause. Johnson is accused of slapping, choking and kicking the seven months pregnant woman in the stomach Feb. 20 during an argument, the affidavit says. The woman told investigators that as Johnson walked away from her, he said, “I never wanted that baby anyway,” a deputy wrote in the affidavit. Four booked into jail on suspicion of DWI Authorities arrested at least four people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday, booking records show. Those booked and the counts against them: Dwayne Fontenot, 38, 1724 Redmond St., Opelousas, second-offense DWI, driver’s license suspended/revoked, drinking in a motor vehicle and reckless operation of a vehicle. Kameron Kolar, 23, 11011 Cal Road, Baton Rouge, second-offense DWI, careless driving and not in possession of a driver’s license. Elizabeth McCollister, 31, 990 Stanford Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and slow vehicle in the left lane.
