Mar 3, 2014 09:09 Ascension deputies arrest seven in drug raid Ascension deputies arrest seven in drug raid Jennifer Wagley River Parishes bureau March 03, 2014 Comments PRAIRIEVILLE — Ascension Parish sheriff’s narcotics agents shut down two methamphetamine labs in a Beechwood Road home this week and arrested seven people on drugs and other counts after a monthlong investigation, deputies said Thursday. Agents obtained a search warrant for the home after they stopped and arrested four people Feb. 14 on drug counts as they were leaving a mobile home at 18070 Beechwood Road, Prairieville, deputies said in a news release. A search of the home Tuesday turned up two methamphetamine labs, an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, pseudophedrine, hydrocodone, clonazepam, Xanax and Adderall and a handgun, deputies said. Deputies declined to say what kind of handgun was seized. The people arrested Friday were booked on counts of drug possession, along with other counts, deputies said. They are: Jennifer Wagley, 35, 44084 La. 42, Prairieville; Ryan Phelps, 33, 43497 Norwood Road, Gonzales; Tracey Bare, 41, 45125 Butch Gore Road, St. Amant; and Brandi Donaldson, 23, 18014 Autumn View Drive, Apt. 1, Prairieville, deputies said. Patrick Kleinpeter Sr., 56; Lori Bailey, 35; and David Bare, 50, all of 18070 Beechwood Road, Prairieville, were arrested Tuesday during the search on counts of drug possession and operating a clandestine lab, deputies said. Phelps and Donaldson also were booked Friday on firearms counts, deputies said. All but Donaldson remained in Ascension Parish Prison in Donaldsonville early Thursday with various bail amounts set, deputies said. Donaldson was released Sunday after posting $35,344.50 bail , deputies said.
