He replaces Alan Sheppard, who was chairman for six years. Sheppard will remain on the board. Stanley is a partner in the law firm of Stanley Reuter Ross Thornton & Alford and has been on the bank’s board since 2004. Barbara Guerard has been named senior vice president of health services at Peoples Health in Metairie. Guerard was executive director and chief executive officer for both LSU Healthcare Network and faculty practice at the University of Vermont College of Medicine/Fletcher Allen Health Care. She also served as vice president of adult multi-specialty services for the University of Tennessee Faculty Practice in Memphis. Marc E. Devenport has been named a partner of the law firm Leake & Andersson LLP in New Orleans. Devenport has 18 years of litigation experience. His primary practice areas include workers’ compensation, transportation and trucking, commercial property insurance coverage disputes and other insurance-related litigation.
