The total is down from about 2,200 people to fewer than 600. This comes as the National Weather Service says its winter storm warning in Southeast Louisiana has been replaced with a hard freeze warning through Thursday morning. The bulk of those without power are Entergy customers, including about 400 in Ascension Parish and 54 in Jefferson Parish — down from 1,500 and 660. Eleven other parishes had anywhere from one to 30 customers in the dark. Maps for Cleco and the Washington-St. Tammany Electric Co-Op showed scattered outages for a handful of customers.
