BATON ROUGE AREA

Dr. David Carmouche has been named executive vice president of external operations and chief medical officer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana.

Carmouche was senior vice president and chief medical officer. Carmouche will play a larger role in coordinating and executing corporate strategy. In addition to heading up Blue Cross’ clinical solutions division, Carmouche will lead and have the support of the network administration and sales and marketing divisions.

Dr. Charles G. Wood has been named medical director of Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.

Wood is a member of Southeast Louisiana Radiation Oncology Group, a group of radiation oncologists practicing exclusively at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center locations. Wood also is a member of both the head and neck and the lung cancer multidisciplinary care teams for Mary Bird Perkins – Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center.

The Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors has elected Bridget Fredericks, of Home After Home, as president.

Other officers are Donna Wolff, of Re/Max Professional, president-elect; and Tiffany Palmer, of Pro Sold Realty, secretary-treasurer.

NEW ORLEANS AREA

King, Krebs & Jurgens has named as members, the equivalent of partner, Brent Burns, Michael Cerniglia and Susan Dinneen.

Burns’ practice focuses on insurance defense litigation, property insurance defense litigation, flood insurance defense and construction law. Cerniglia focuses on maritime, oil and gas, environmental, toxic tort and commercial litigation matters.

Dinneen concentrates on the representation of insurers in bad faith litigation, catastrophe/mass tort defense, insurance fraud and insurance coverage matters.

Nick Karl, who has served as the sales director for Peoples Health in Metairie, has been named assistant vice president of sales and marketing. Suzanne Whitaker, who was director of communications, has been named assistant vice president of communications.

Karl develops and implements the company’s strategic sales plan. Whitaker develops companywide communications strategies and campaigns.

St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington has named Shannon Green as access manager of the Cordes Pavilion and Paula Toups as administrator of home health and hospice.

Toups was regional director of operations/executive director at Hospice Compassus in New Orleans. Green was supervisor for admitting and scheduling at the St. Tammany Parish Hospital Paul D. Cordes Outpatient Pavilion.

LAFAYETTE AREA

Darnall, Sikes, Gardes & Frederick in Lafayette has named as partners Adam J. Curry, Kyle P. Saltzman and Blaine M. Crochet.

They were managers at the certified public accountants firm. Curry practices in the areas of taxation and wealth management. Saltzman specializes in performing audits, reviews and compilations for for-profit, not-for-profit and governmental clients.

He also specializes in the performance of internal control audits and agreed-upon procedures engagements. Crochet practices in the areas of audit, reviews and compilations for governmental entities and nonpublic companies.

Kristy Bonner has been named vice president of digital services at Foster Marketing in Lafayette.

Bonner was an account executive and digital strategist.
