BAKER — Police booked a man and woman Monday morning after finding 256 grams — or about 9 ounces — of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia in their home, Baker Police Chief Mike Knapps said.
Joseph Lee Chambers Jr., 48, and Tracy Lynn Tebbe, 44, both were booked Monday with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Chambers also was booked with intent to distribute marijuana and Tebbe also was booked with possession of marijuana, Knapps said in a news release.
While searching the home at 1806 Chamberlain Ave., Baker, police found marijuana, a wooden smoking pipe, a storage container and rolling papers in Tebbe’s purse. Tebbe told police about other marijuana in the home that belonged to Chambers, Knapps said.
Chambers told police he started selling drugs to supplement his income, Knapps said in the release.
