The Preservation Hall Jazz Band’s upcoming performances include a Nov. 1 appearance at Voodoo Experience and Nov. 16 performance at the Apollo Theater. Founded in 1961, the traditional jazz band released its first album of original material in July. The band’s busy year of touring continues in November and December, including shows in Baltimore, Chicago, San Francisco and Canada. The band is also performing tonight at 8 p.m. at Preservation Hall. It returns to Baton Rouge Dec. 5 for a holiday concert at the Manship Theatre.
