ULI introduces N.O. lecture series ULI introduces N.O. lecture series Advocate staff report Oct. 16, 2013 Comments The Urban Land Institute Louisiana plans to introduce a lecture series to let members hear from business and industry leaders about the changes happening in New Orleans. The CEO Series will start Oct. 17 with Doug Thornton, executive vice president of SMG, which manages the Superdome and New Orleans Arena. Future speakers at the monthly meetings will be Gary LaGrange, CEO of the Port of New Orleans; Justin Augustine, general manager of the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority; Iftikhar Ahmad, director of aviation at Louis Armstrong International Airport; and Ray Manning, president of the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans. The lectures will be held at One Canal Place in the fourth-floor conference room from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Breakfast is included. Admission is $15 and ULI members can bring one guest.
