Denham Springs recently unveiled an online utility bill payment option that enables business and residential customers to pay and manage their utility accounts online.

Customers can view the new payment system by visiting www.CityofDenhamSprings.com.

Livingston Parish Fair

The Livingston Parish Fair opens at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Livingston Parish Fairgrounds, 13325 U.S. 190, Livingston.

This year’s fair will celebrate 75 years of family fun, rides, games, rodeo, school competitions and livestock exhibits.

More than 100,000 people are expected to attend.

Pumpkin Patch

St. Francis Episcopal Church hosts the 18th annual Pumpkin Patch starting at noon Oct. 13, when the pumpkins arrive.

The pumpkin patch, 726 Maple St., Denham Springs, will continue until Oct. 31 and will feature large and small pumpkins, gourds and pumpkin bread.

Story times are available for students.

Republican Women meet

The Livingston Parish Republican Women holds its monthly meeting at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Big Mike’s, 123 Aspen Square, Denham Springs.

Antiques, music and food

The Denham Springs Antique Village Fall Festival, scheduled Saturday, will feature antiques, art, music and food.

The festival hosts more than 150 local and regional artists and craftsmen, offering a wide range of items. Attractions include free carnival rides, wandering musicians, face painting and arts and crafts.

Bow Wow Ween

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Livingston and Faithful Companions Pet Grooming will host the Bow Wow Ween pet costume contest during the Denham Springs Village Fall Festival on Saturday.

Pets line up at 11 a.m. and the contest begins at noon.

The registration fee is $15 per dog until Friday and $20 on the day of the event.

Pets must be vaccinated and on a leash. Entry forms are available at the SPCA Facebook page.
