Hammond man accused of threatening neighbor Hammond man accused of threatening neighbor | Florida Parishes bureau Sept. 12, 2013 Comments HAMMOND — Tangipahoa Parish deputies on Wednesday arrested a man accused of threatening his neighbor and firing his gun into the air. Joseph Hall, 34, tried to start an argument with a neighbor at 48699 Morris Road in Hammond, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office. When the neighbor refused to argue with Hall, he threatened the neighbor and fired a shot into the air, the news release states. Hall, a convicted felon with a history of violence, then discarded the gun. Deputies weren’t able to find the weapon and learned that he may have given it to 19-year-old Troy Green. Hall is charged with aggravated assault, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and illegal discharge of a weapon. Green, who deputies found later, was wanted on several outstanding warrants, including criminal trespassing, burglary and failure to appear. He was arrested and taken to the Tangipahoa Parish Jail.
