Mary Landrieu capitol news bureau Jan. 06, 2014 Comments WASHINGTON – The fight against U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., and her 2014 reelection bid is moving to the hugely popular “Duck Dynasty” television show filmed in West Monroe. A new anti-Landrieu commercial, called “Misfire,” is set to air Wednesday night during the fourth season premiere of the A&E TV show and during next week’s episode in the New Orleans market area. The commercial is designed to look like the old Nintendo video game, “Duck Hunt.” The National Republican Senatorial Committee-funded ad accuses Landrieu of having “bad aim” on issues like “Obamacare,” taxes, energy production and more. The voiceover states that Landrieu must “start shooting straight” with Louisiana and stop “masquerading” as someone she is not. Landrieu’s primary opponent thus far is U.S. Rep. Bill Cassidy, R-Baton Rouge.
