Baton Rouge police are investigating a Wednesday afternoon shooting that left a 23-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.
The victim was shot in the neck during a dispute inside his apartment about drugs, police Cpl. L’Jean McKneely said.
As of 8:30 p.m., the man was being treated at a hospital, McKneely said.
The shooting happened at 3:10 p.m. in the 1800 block of Carolyn Sue Drive off Old Hammond Highway, McKneely said.
