Lemonade Day Louisiana workshop for kids set Sunday Lemonade Day Louisiana workshop for kids set Sunday Advocate staff report April 07, 2013 Comments Baton Rouge businessman Layne McDaniel and members of the Louisiana Society of CPAs will conduct a free seminar Sunday to teach children the basics of running their own lemonade stands during next month’s Lemonade Day Louisiana. The Lemonade Day Basics Workshop, designed to help prepare participating youths plan their lemonade stands, is scheduled from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum, 100 S. River Road, in downtown Baton Rouge, The workshop is free and open to youth of all ages, and admission to LASM is free as part of the 1st Sunday program. During the workshop, participants who register for Lemonade Day Louisiana will receive a free backpack that includes an entrepreneur workbook and materials. Lemonade Day Louisiana is a free program designed to teach children how to start, own and operate their own business through building and running their own lemonade stand. Participants are provided with free, detailed support materials to help establish their lemonade stands on Lemonade Day, May 4.
