SULPHUR — The City Council will put up $12,000 for signs to help tourists navigate the city and find attractions.
The American Press reports the city entered into a cooperative endeavor agreement in November with the Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau to buy eight to 10 signs to be posted around the city.
The signs will direct visitors to parks, the aquatic center, the Brimstone Museum and other local attractions.
Sign colors will match the Sulphur entrance sign, which is green and tan.
