Man, 51, booked in home invasion, theft

Baton Rouge police Wednesday arrested a 51-year-old Baton Rouge man accused of opening the back door to a woman’s residence with a tire iron, striking her in the face with the iron, breaking her nose, and stealing her cellphone.

Police booked Benny D. Thomas, 2388 Carolina St., into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on one count each of home invasion and theft, an affidavit of probable cause says.

on suspicion of DWI

Authorities arrested at least three people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, booking records show.

Those booked and the counts against them:

  • Dwight Arceneaux, 51, 9950 Glavin Ave., Baton Rouge, second-offense DWI and reckless operation of a vehicle.
  • Deantoine Dangerfield, 26, 10843 Ansley Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, speeding and driver’s license suspended/revoked.
  • Michael Whittaker, 21, 361 Winchester, Mandeville, first-offense DWI, speeding and reckless operation of a vehicle.

what is the right website hello baton rouge? also, what would he have done if when he broke in the lady had had a gun? not a whistle, peed her pants, vomited or said she had a sexual disease or all the other crud the liberals say to use, but a real life 30 round AR-15, SAFETY OFF AND FINGER ON THE TRIGER. bet he wouldn't have gotten that cell phone.
