Police booked Katherine Manuselis, 34, 3541 Buffwood Drive, Baker, into Parish Prison on Friday on 30 counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, and one count each of possession and distribution of marijuana, illegal use of a controlled substance in the presence of persons under the age of 17 years old and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, the warrant says. In addition to touching the boys, Manuselis, a teacher at Baker since the 2011-2012 school year, allegedly sent one of them sexual text messages and offered the other student whatever grade he wanted in her class, the warrant says. One of the boys said he did not consent to the touching and “despised” her for it, the warrant says. She also allegedly purchased marijuana through a 17-year-old boy and smoked it with him and an 18-year-old girl, both of whom were students, the warrant says.
