Man arrested for false imprisonment

Baton Rouge police arrested a man Friday accused of forcing his way into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment Feb. 5, slapping her several times and holding her at gunpoint against her will, an affidavit warrant says.

Police booked Theopolies J. Darson, 21, 209 Taft St., Baton Rouge, into Parish Prison on counts of home invasion, false imprisonment with a dangerous weapon and simple battery, the warrant says.

The victim ran out of the apartment after an hour, but Darson chased her, grabbed her and tried to bring her back inside, the warrant says.

When a neighbor came outside and observed the incident, Darson let go of the victim, the warrant says.

When do we get to read about the underage prostitution ring in BR involving four local high schools, including two Christian schools? It has made news in other parts of the US. But not here. Who has the power to cover this up?
