Feb 7, 2013 14:54 FACT Project hosts movie in BR about teen dating violence FACT Project hosts movie in BR about teen dating violence Advocate staff report Feb. 07, 2013 Comments The Family and Community Together Project will gather at 6 p.m. Thursday to host a popcorn and movie event to promote awareness of teen dating violence. The FACT Project will screen the Lifetime movie “Reviving Ophelia” and when it’s over, discuss the film and its message as well as hear from Hinney Harris, a local high school football player who will speak out against teen dating violence. Thursday’s event will take place at the House of Refuge Ministries, 1509 Highland Road. Children 11 to 17 years old are invited and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the film. Space is limited so arrive early. For information, call (225) 936-1879.
