Jan 29, 2013 00:44 Scotlandville forum postponed to Feb. 4 Scotlandville forum postponed to Feb. 4 Advocate staff report Jan. 29, 2013 Comments A community forum at Scotlandville Magnet High School in Baton Rouge has been pushed back from Thursday to Monday. The rescheduled meeting will start at 6 p.m. Monday at the high school, 9870 Scotland Ave. A separate forum for those working at public schools in the Scotlandville area will be held at the same time at Instructional Resource Center, 1022 S. Foster Drive, next to the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board Office. This will be the third of four community forums Superintendent Bernard Taylor is holding to discuss turning four areas of Baton Rouge into “attendance regions” where students can choose to attend any school within the region. The final forum is planned for 6 p.m. Feb. 5 at Southeast Middle School, 15000 S. Harrell’s Ferry Road. Staff from schools in the area are to meet at 6 p.m. Feb. 5 at IRC.
