Authorities had warned drivers to avoid the area after a vehicle ran into a building at the corner of Burbank and Seabord Drive, St. George Fire Department spokesman Eldon Ledoux said. Firefighters from the St. George Fire Department and hazardous materials crews responded and had been waiting for the gas company crew to cut off the gas service line, Ledoux said. Authorities are not sure at this time why the vehicle ran off the roadway, State Police Trooper First Class Jared Sandifer said. Only minor injuries were reported in the accident, Sandifer said.
