the federal government will move "these types" into your neighborhood if they aren't there already. it's our new way of destroying our normal neighborhoods. what it is, is horrible.

First Hobby Lobby, now Walmart...Just another section of Baton Rouge that has fallen to invading chimpanzees. It's sickening, but hey we let it happen. That is the closest Walmart to my home as well, but I now travel 20 miles to the one in Prairieville so I don't have to shop in a zoo and get robbed on the way out.

Related to the Sheriff charged with domestic violence: To all the people who feel "military type" weapons should only be in the hand of the law and military because of their "proper" gun training, that doesn't matter. If the person is mental, no amount of training will stop him from shooting someone, and cops do shoot people by "accident" all the time. Military you say? Two words, Fort Hood. My second comment, Wal-Mart on College Dr armed robberies in the parking lot? I live in Southdowns and make many late night trips there, I kind of wish they came to me at my car, they would have been met with a nice surprise. They ran on foot? Jeez, I wonder what neighborhood they live in?? And I never understood, how is that neighborhood even in the middle of that area like that? I would think that property would be worth tons with people making offers to buy out blocks at a time. If they cleaned Valley up...business in that area would be booming. I never understood how that area ended up like that.

“EBR detective arrested for domestic violence” ( WAFB) or “Ex-sheriff’s staffer booked with battery” ( The Advocate) also note that for the Advocate story you had to first go to Police and fire briefs. I know he was 'fired' one second before arrested? What pandering Advocate.
