LAFAYETTE — The Friends of the Dupré Library Annual Book Sale began Thursday and continues from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Dupré Library, 400 East St. Mary Blvd.
The sale features fiction and nonfiction used books on a wide variety of topics. Hardcover books cost $1 and paperbacks are 50 cents. The sale also includes LPs and some other recordings, priced at $1 for singles and $2 for sets.
The sale is located on the first floor of the library and public parking is available at lots on the corner of East Saint Mary Boulevard and Girard Park Circle and on the corner of West Saint Mary Boulevard and Cherry Street.
The book sale is a fundraiser organized by the Friends of the Library, a volunteer, nonprofit organization.
