SU Law, SGA hosting Halloween carnival

Parents looking for a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating are invited to the inaugural Halloween Carnival to be held on Southern University’s campus Wednesday.

The Southern University Law Center Student Bar Association and SU Student Government Association invited children age 12 and younger to play in a bounce house, take pony rides, get their faces painted and participate in carnival games.

The carnival will be held between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. at A.W. Mumford Practice Field on Southern’s campus.

Candy and treats will be donated by third-year law student William Casanova and Church Point Wholesale’s Jackie Casanova.
