Baton Rouge police investigated a shooting Tuesday evening at an apartment complex in the 600 block of Sharp Lane near Florida Boulevard.
Police were called at 5:18 p.m. about a shooting at the Chateau De Ville Condominiums at 680 Sharp Lane, Cpl. Tommy Stubbs said.
A man was shot multiple times in his upper torso, Stubbs said. The shooter fled the scene, he said.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he remained in critical condition as of 9:30 p.m., Stubbs said. Police have no motives or suspects in the shooting, he said.
Dorothy Gray, the complex’s manager, said police told her that a resident got into an argument with another man about a dog in the parking lot near the apartment where the resident lives.
