Due to activities associated with Southern University’s homecoming celebration Saturday, officials announced the Scotlandville Branch Library will be closed.

The library will resume its normal operating hours from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release.

Any business in that area would be smart to close. The southern gun & knife show is out of control
