Theft suspect

DENHAM SPRINGS — Detectives are searching for a man believed to have committed multiple thefts in the Denham Springs area immediately following Hurricane Isaac.

The suspect was caught on camera during a theft at a Denham Springs residence, police spokesman Shawn Perkins said in a news release Monday.

The suspect is a white male, with a muscular build, with short brown hair, side burns and tattoos, Perkins said.

At the time of the theft, the thief was wearing a muscle shirt with shorts and a white beret cap, Perkins said.

The suspect has a large star-shaped tattoo on his left shoulder and a large cross tattoo on his right shoulder. He was driving a dark-colored Chevrolet Z71 pickup, Perkins said.
