Four candidates are vying for the position of East Baton Rouge mayor-president in the Nov. 6 election.

The Advocate is profiling each candidate and will also be exploring their views on key issues facing the city-parish. The first of the issues articles focuses on the leadership styles of the candidates and is scheduled to run on Sunday, Sept. 23. Subsequent articles will explore the priorities and strategies of the candidates on such issues as improving the city-parish’s transportation network, rebuilding infrastructure, managing the city-parish budget and fighting crime.
