- BATON ROUGE PRESS CLUB: Noon, De La Ronde Hall, 320 Third St. Val Marmillion, managing director of America’s Wetland Foundation, will discuss the foundation’s new report, “Beyond Unintended Consequences: Adaptation for Gulf Coast Resiliency and Sustainability.” The report offers 30 recommendations for Gulf Coast sustainability based on research and testimony from a series of leadership forums held in communities from Texas to Florida. Lunch, which is served at 11:30 a.m., is $12 for members and $15 for non-members.

- AMERICANS UNITED FOR SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE PRESENTATION: 7 p.m., Unitarian Church, 8470 Goodwood Blvd. The Louisiana Chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State will host a talk by Dr. Gaines M. Foster, dean of the LSU College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Foster will discuss “Change the Constitution?
