Double trouble? Saints lose at Carolina 35-27

Carolina quarterback Cam Newton passed for 253 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 73 yards and one touchdown to lead the Panthers to a 35-27 victory against the Saints on Sunday.

The Saints (0-2) are 0-2 for the first time since 2007.

New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees completed 31 of 49 passes for 325 yards and one touchdown, but was intercepted twice.
