Residents of three more parishes are now eligible for disaster assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the aftermath of Hurricane Isaac.
Louisiana state officials announced Friday that residents of East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana and West Feliciana parishes can apply for individual assistance from FEMA.
Their addition brings the total number of eligible parishes to 21.
The state also is asking FEMA to approve Isaac-related individual assistance for Pointe Coupee and West Baton Rouge parish residents who sustained uninsured or underinsured damage to their home, business or other property.
