Police seek convenience store robber

Baton Rouge police are trying to identify a man they say has robbed several Circle K locations in the city of energy drinks and performance enhancement pills.

The man is described as a black male in his 40s with a slender build, Cpl. L’Jean McKneely said. He has been seen leaving the convenience stores on foot and in and older model blue pickup truck.

He was seen in surveillance photos taken at an unknown Circle K on Aug. 23, McKneely said.

Anyone with information on this suspect is urged to contact police at (225) 389-3824 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.

Small comfort, perhaps, but at least he hasn't shoved a gun in someone's face. All the same, stealing Red Bull and Extenze? Please. I wonder if he's selling it on the black market (no pun intended) or if it is for his own personal use?

if i saw him, i'd recognize him from this photo. everyone who knows him also recognizes him. at least one of them should call the police and give a name.
