Third-ranked LSU tied the FBS all-time record for consecutive non-conference regular season victories when it scored 41 unanswered points to defeat Washington 41-3 in Tiger Stadium on Saturday.

LSU has 39 consecutive regular-season non-conference victories to tie the mark set by Kansas State from 1993 to 2003.

LSU outgained Washington 437-183. The Tigers held the Huskies to 26 yards on 24 carries.

LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger completed 12 of 18 passes for 195 yards and one touchdown.
