Meetings set to review East Feliciana plan

Meetings are scheduled Monday and Tuesday for the public to review a draft plan for economic development, land use and transportation in East Feliciana Parish.

The 6:30 p.m. Monday meeting will be at J.D.’s Restaurant, La. 10 at Bank Street, in Clinton.

The Tuesday meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Jackson Civic Center on La. 10.

Doors will open to the public at both meetings at 6 p.m.

Developed by the East Feliciana Economic Development District, the plan “provides a guide for how the parish should look in the future,” a news release says.

Public comment on the proposed East Feliciana Comprehensive Resiliency Plan will be accepted during the meetings. Copies of the plan may be downloaded from the website http://www.efpmoving
forward.com or viewed at the parish libraries.
