Ascension Parish
Sand and bags are available to Ascension Parish residents at the following fire stations and locations:

5th Ward Fire Department, 39110 La. 22, Darrow.

Donaldsonville Fire Chief Chuck Montero said sandbagging assistance will be available until noon Tuesday at the Lemann Center.

Assumption Parish
All sand and sandbag sites are available and may be used by any resident.
The parish stockpile at 141 La. 1008, Napoleonville, will be accessible and available to anyone during emergency situations, parish government officials said.
Sand sites located on nonpublic properties are considered public during declared emergencies for that purpose.
WARD 1: Dorseyville Park.
WARD 2: Fire station on Bruly Road, Labadieville; and Dias Road.
WARD 3: Ball park on La. 662 (Bayou L’Ourse).
WARD 4: Turnaround at the end of La. 1012 (lower Texas); church at the Marais (La. 400); and behind the church on Cancienne Road.
WARD 5: Bayou Crab Road near bridge at Cancienne Canal; La. 401 at intersection of Bayou Crab Road; Assumption Parish Police Jury yard on La. 1008; La. 402 – Hollywood’s at the turnaround; and La. 403 – Tractor shed near La. 1005.
WARD 6: Near the dollar store in Paincourtville (across the street by the old bar parking lot).
WARD 7: Catholic church in Belle Rose; Catholic church in Bruly St. Martin; Gumbo Street at corner in the front; and Rue de Kajun Street.
WARD 8:
La. 70 at Bay Bridge; and
La. 70 on turnaround near Derrick Street
WARD 9: North Belle River Road at the turnaround; South Belle River Road near old Catholic church and cemetery; Bayou Tranquille near the trash bin; La. 70 at old transfer site near Family Street; and Shell Beach Road near Chili’s.
East Baton Rouge Parish
BAKER: Behind the Baker Municipal Building on Groom Road.
ZACHARY: Zachary Youth Park, 1650 E. Mt. Pleasant Road. Public works employees available to assist residents needing sand and bags.
BATON ROUGE: Curt Monte, Baton Rouge Fire Department spokesman, said sandbags are no longer available for residents. He stressed that residents should not attempt to drive to find sandbags at this point, because the roads are too dangerous.
Iberia Parish
The city of New Iberia will have sandbags available until 11 a.m. Tuesday at 907 Fulton St. Residents are asked to approach the facility from the North Street side.
Iberville Parish
The parish’s Department of Public Works is operating on a 24-hour basis and has sandbags available for pick-up at the parish maintenance facility, at 59705 Bayou Rd. in Plaquemine.
Sandbags will also be available at 4 p.m. today at the following locations:
Both fire departments in Bayou Pigeon.
Both fire departments in Bayou Sorrel.
White Castle Fire Station at La. 404 and Richland Road.
St. Gabriel Fire Station at 2075 La. 30.
Old Seymoreville School, on Barrow St. near Alexander St.
Maringouin Town Hall at 77510 Landry St.
Grosse Tete Town Hall at 18125 Willow St.
Rosedale Town Hall at 76535 Rosedale Road.
White Castle Town Hall at 32535 Bowie St.
St. Gabriel Town Hall at 5035 Iberville St.
Dorseyville Park on Cpl. Herman Brown, near Anderson Road.
Lafayette Parish
Lafayette Consolidated Government will begin distributing sandbags at noon Tuesday at the North District Barn at 130 Shantel Road, the South District Barn at 1017 Fortune Road, the George Dupuis Center at 1212 East Pont des Mouton Road and the Robichaux Center at 1919 Eraste Landry Road. Residents must fill their own bigs.
The city of Broussard has opened three self-service sandbag locations: Railroad Street in front of City Hall, Polk Street behind City Hall and Deer Meadow Boulevard off of Fairfield Street.
The city of Scott will distribute sandbags until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the maintenance building at 118 Lions Club Road (across the street from city hall). Proof of residence is required.
The city of Youngsville has stocked four sandbag locations. Residents are limited to 15 bags each.
The sites are:
Bag-your-own at the city police station at 304 Fourth St.
Bag-your-own at the Public Works building at 310 Railroad Ave.
Bag-your-own at the horse arena across from Farmer’s Bank at 412 Iberia St.
The fourth site is at the Youngsville sewer plant at 416 Railroad Ave. This site is reserved for the elderly and individuals requiring assistance, which will be available until 4 p.m. to help load pre-bagged sand into vehicles.
Pointe Coupee Parish
The parish will deliver sandbags to residents, per request, by calling (225) 638-9556. Bag-your-own locations are set up at:
City of New Roads Department of Public Works at 215 Oak St.
Fire District No. 3 fire station at 6711 Lance St. in Ventress.
Lottie Fire Station at 2947 La. 81 in Lottie.
St. James Parish
Sand and sandbags will be available at Vacherie Elementary, District 5 Recreation Park, Gramercy water plant, East bank water plant, Grand Point Fire Station, Lutcher maintenance barn, First Baptist Church on Magnolia Heights Street and the Kingview Street Fire Station.
St. Landry Parish
Residents in St. Landry Parish can pick up sandbags at the following locations Tuesday:
City Barn at 750 Bobcat Dr., Eunice, on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Leonville Sewer Plant at 2992 Oscar Rivette Road beginning at 7 a.m.
The Yambilee Building at 1939 West Landry St., Opelousas, from 7: 30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Residents are limited to 15 sandbags per dwelling. Sandbags will also be available at City Street Department, 1045 South Railroad St and the Opelousas Police Department at 318 North Court St.
In Port Barre, sandbags will be available at the Fruit of the Loom Building, 17879 La. 90 beginning at 8 a.m. This will be a self-fill station.
In Arnaudville, sandbags will be available behind city hall all day Tuesday until sandbags run out. Limit of six bags per dwelling.
St. Martin Parish
Sand bags are available Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Locations in upper St. Martin Parish are at the Ruth Bridge Barn, the North Barn on North Barn Road and the South Barn on Capritto Forty Arpent Road.
In Lower St. Martin Parish, sandbags will be available Doiron’s Landing.
Residents will have to fill the sandbags themselves and are encouraged to bring a shovel.
Tangipahoa Parish
The parish is distributing sandbags at both of the parish road and bridge facilities, at 44512 W. Pleasant Ridge Road in Hammond and 63101 Commercial St., Roseland. Residents may get up to 25 sand bags per residence.
West Baton Rouge Parish
Sandbags are now available for residents of West Baton Rouge Parish to fill at the following locations: all parish ball parks, Anita Park, Rosehill Volunteer Fire Department No. 1 and the Port Allen Depot.
