Jindal campaigning for Romney in Virginia

(AP) — Gov. Bobby Jindal is traveling to Virginia for his latest campaign event in support of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

The Romney campaign said Jindal will be in Chester, Va., on Thursday to meet with campaign volunteers.

Since June, Jindal has traveled to Colorado, Illinois, Utah, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Iowa and Florida to support Romney, attending fundraisers, making speeches and shaking hands with voters.

Another nail in Romney's coffin. If he is smart, he will pay Jindal to stay away.

Of course he's in Virginia campaigning for Richie Rich. What else would he be doing? His job? Please....

CM, our state is in a bad way and getting worse. His being a respected member of the Republican party has managed to garner him a second tier speaking spot at their convention which does squat for our state. Why is he not making any public appearances in our state? because he does not care about our state but rather only about his own advancement.

Our country is in a bad way, and getting worse. He is a respected member of the GOP and if he can help in any way, I'm all for it. Governors travel and speak for their party all of the time. The state of our state is not going to change because Gov. Jindal is not physically here.

Do we as taxpayers absorb the cost of his security detail following him around? If we do, I suggest budgetary cuts to eliminate non- essential travel by elected officials.

This is getting absolutely ridiculous.
