Because of increased reports of West Nile virus in the area and high nighttime temperatures, parish officials will begin using planes to spray for mosquitoes starting Tuesday, according to a news release from the city-parish.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Mosquito Abatement and Rodent Control plane will be flying between 6 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. Tuesday in the northern section of Baker and Brown Heights areas, the news release said.
