WATSON — State Police on Wednesday identified the deceased driver of a pickup that crashed into Wal-Mart on Tuesday as Woodrow Pevey, 63, of Pine Grove.
Pevey was near La. 16 and La. 1024 when he slumped over the wheel, his pickup ran off the road and crashed into the store, Trooper Russell Graham said Wednesday.
Livingston Parish Coroner Ron Coe said Pevey suffered from a cardiac arrhythmia.
No one else was injured in the crash, Graham said.
