Livingston Parish jail inmate dies

A Livingston Parish Detention Center inmate died Tuesday from natural causes, a Livingston Parish sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
Charles David Dunn, 47, was pronounced dead at 12:31 p.m. by Acadian Ambulance personnel, spokeswoman Lori Steele said in a news release.
An autopsy by the Livingston Parish Coroner’s Office determined Dunn died of severe coronary artery disease and gastrointestinal hemhorraging from ulcers, Steele said.
Dunn was in the detention center for resisting arrest and battery of a police officer, Steele said.
