I-12 westbound traffic lanes reopen at Denham Springs

DENHAM SPRINGS — Both lanes of Interstate 12 westbound have reopened to traffic, the Denham Springs Police Department reported around 3:40 p.m. Friday.

Closure of one westbound lane because of construction had caused traffic to back up as far as Walker for much of the day. Traffic diverting to U.S. 190 had caused long delays there as well.
