The program will be broadcast in Baton Rouge by WRKF-FM (89.3) at 7 p.m. Saturday and in New Orleans by WWNO-FM (89.9) at 7 p.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday. The Blues Festival segment of the program, featuring performances from this year’s festival, will air in the program’s second hour. Performers include Mississippi native and longtime New Orleans resident Little Freddie King, Lafayette’s Lil Buck Sinegal, Creole-zydeco accordionist Jeffery Broussard and New York’s Naomi Shelton and the Gospel Queens. “American Routes” host Nick Spitzer is one of the Baton Rouge Blues Festival’s original organizers.
