Extra: Maura Dupré participated this summer in Best Buy’s Geek Squad Summer Academy, hosted locally by Girl Scouts Louisiana East in partnership with McKinley Middle Magnet School. Participating girls learned to tear down and rebuild a computer and also about computer programming, digital photography and digital music. Dupré, a Girl Scout, plays soccer with Capital City United and plays both the piano and guitar. She enjoys making computer videos and posting them at http://www.youtube.com.
