Spring brings bright colors to local fashion shows

Bright colors for both day and night ruled the runways at two recent style shows. Lace, ruffles and pleats along with citrus hues, floral prints and flowy tops made for a definite feminine flair at the Mad Hatter’s Luncheon, which showcased fashions from Dillard’s.

Other summer must-haves include colored denim, maxi-length skirts and dresses, animal and Aztec prints and the always popular preppy look.

Glitz and elegance ruled at the Best Dressed Ball.
