Wash tomatoes and basil, removing stems from basil leaves. 2. Using party toothpicks (I like the knotted kind), skewer ingredients in alternating order: tomato, mozzarella, basil, tomato, basil, mozzarella and tomato. Plate and repeat until all ingredients are used. Dress in balsamic vinegar if desired.
