Italian Sausage Potatoes


Italian Sausage Potatoes

Serves 4 to 6. Recipe is by Julie Kay.

6 to 8 small red potatoes, cut into quarters

1 lb. pkg. ground Italian sausage

1 bell pepper, chopped

3 green onions, chopped

1 tsp. oregano

1 tsp. basil

1 tsp. Italian seasoning

1 (24-oz.) jar Bertolli Italian sausage with garlic and Romano cheese pasta sauce

1. Cut red potatoes into quarters. Put into slow cooker.

2. Brown Italian sausage on stovetop on medium-high heat and drain of fat.

3. Add sausage to potatoes in slow cooker. Add bell pepper, onions, spices and pasta sauce.

4. Cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours, or until potatoes are fork tender.
